6th Annual Pink Moon Festival Preview
The 6th annual Pink Moon Festival has recently been announced, spanning September 11-15th this year. The event will be held in Rock Camp, an unincorporated community in Monroe County, West Virginia. The exact venue is called Pinky’s Farm, and from what I’ve seen, it looks amazing. Growing in size and appeal each year, this iteration of the Pink Moon Festival is looking incredibly solid!
Combining music and art, and by art I mean crazy awesome unique art, the Pink Moon Festival is offering a lot to attendees this year. Hosting two stages, multiple vending areas, a “hippie kitchen,” body painting, a black light mini golf course, multiple awesome VIP areas, and other unique areas like Bird City and Graveyard Hill, this is going to be an incredible event! Surprisingly, this isn’t the first year there has been a blacklight mini-golf course onsite – the event coordinators promised an improved blacklight course this time around, that is bigger and better than ever. Along with this, there will be multiple live painters attending – Jonathon Blake, a.k.a. Crazyredbeard, who will also have a booth in the Shangri-La Village, along with separate booths for painters Bryan Bailey, Nicholas Daily, and Ashton Hill; Andy Reed, who is playing a set as well as running a booth; and last but not least Courtney Fishback who will be body painting! Overall, Pink Moon Festival is looking to be an absolute blast this year!
Tickets are incredibly reasonable, with pre-sale passes going for only $40, and VIP packages going for $100. The VIP package includes: VIP/artist camping, hospitality (meals, snacks, and drinks) throughout the weekend, free access to Thursday (Sept. 11th) which will cost general admission ticket holders $10 extra at the gate (to go toward land maintenance), meet and greets with artists, a Pink Moon 6 poster, and more perks to be announced. Hop on these soon, because as the festival approaches, these prices will definitely increase.

Here is a glowing review from last year (via Facebook):
“I attend music festivals all summer. Pink Moon Festival is the one that I look forward to the most. The combination of the amazing people, intimate crowd, fantastic sounding stages, great acts and the land that it is on all blend together for an experience that I would recomend! If you are coming to Pink Moon, be prepared to have the best time of your entire life and also bring a warm jacket! Cheers, see you at Pinky’s Farm.”

Sensible Reason has worked with one of the up and coming artists on the Pink Moon lineup. Last year DigitialDavy produced a special mix called “Spring Awkeneing” just for Sensible Reason.
