The world of electronic music is a place where artists can showcase their many talents. It seems that in today’s dance music scene producers and DJs can wear numerous hats and chase a wide range of pursuits. No one embodies that ethos more than electronic dance producer/multi-instrumentalist, composer, and conductor Brian Tyler. By day, under his own name, Tyler becomes one of the most acclaimed composers for film, television, and video games. By night, however, Tyler assumes his high energy moniker Madsonik.
Madsonik is quickly transforming into one of the rising stars of today’s EDM scene, slaying massive festival crowds and teaming up with huge EDM icons. His epic, award-winning scores have appeared in soundtracks and trailers for numerous box-office blockbusters like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7, Iron Man 3 and the upcoming Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious as well as iconic games like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty.
With the release of one of the biggest action films of 2017, the Vin Diesel-starring xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Tyler is bringing his two alter egos together. Not only did Tyler create the film’s powerful score, but he also appears on the film’s soundtrack alongside David Guetta and Pusha T with two Madsonik tracks of his very own.
Demonstrating his ability to smash dance floors and top charts at the same time, Madsonik turns heads with his euphoric track “Take It to the Top.” With the ability to take audiences on a ride that’s driven with rapid, energized rhythm and edgy synths, Madsonik shows us exactly why he is branching out and taking the dance music world by storm. The second featured single, “Divebomb,” is a collaboration with his good friends, world renowned OWSLA artist Kill The Noise and Rage Against The Machine guitar groundbreaker/fellow Harvard alum, Tom Morello. The track is a slamming hybrid of skanking tropical riddims, insistent big-room beats, raw rock and roll attitude, and Tyler’s signature cinematic atmosphere.
