George Porter Jr., James Casey, Bobby Deitch and More to Play beYouLoveLife Benefit Show in New York
(NEW YORK, New York. LAUNCH DATES: April 16 – 17, 2016) beYouLoveLife, in partnership with Type A Productions, presents the first show in its Impact Music Series, featuring legendary New Orleans bassist George Porter, Jr. of the Meters, Grammy-nominated guitarist Gil Parris, Bobby Deitch, James Casey, Jen Durkin, and Big Yuki (American Beauty Bar, 251 West 30th Street, New York – Saturday, April 16th, 7pm – 9pm).
This concert series is one of many beYouLoveLife initiatives that seek to unite influencers from the music, philanthropy, and nonprofit worlds to bring about positive social change in our local and global communities. A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go to pancreatic cancer research and music education for children.
In conjunction with the launch of the Impact Music Series, beYouLoveLife will launch its inspirational social platform, bYLLboard, at an exclusive, invite-only event featuring twoacoustic sets with Joe Russo of JRAD, Scott Metzger of JRAD and George Porter, Jr.

bYLLboard is the first customizable social platform of its kind (think Pinterest-meets-Upworthymeets-Instagram). bYLLboard is a place where users can share their most authentic self and receive support from a community of like-minded and like-hearted members worldwide. “bYLLboard will be a safe space where users can share stories about physical, mental, or emotional challenges they’ve experienced in order to inspire others facing similar trials and tribulations,” explains co-founder Ali Lambert Voron.
