Biweekly Playlist: I’m Bringing Camel-Bak… YEAH
First things first on this week’s edition of Biweekly Playlist: go back and say the title to the tune of “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake. Did you do it? I wasn’t kidding — do it. Ok, good, moving on.
This week’s playlist is inspired by the EZOO lineup (and the title obviously comes from the whole Camelbak debacle). Now, I couldn’t possible fit the entire lineup into a single playlist, in fact I couldn’t do the entire Main Stage East or West lineup, so I took the top three from each Main Stage for all three days.
Thanks to the somewhat varied genres of the stages each day, this week’s mix covers everything from trance to trap — we’ve got Zedd’s new remix of “Rude,” DJ Carnage’s “Mara,” “Feet On the Ground” from Nicky Romero and Anouk, and even the David Guetta-Showtek track, “BAD.” Clearly I meant it when I said we’ve got everything.
Also making appearances are Dada Life with “One Smile,” the Nervo sisters with “Sunshine Thru Rain Clouds,” and the Bingo Players sing-a-long song, “Knock You Out.” Just a heads up, I may or may not have purposely put those tracks you can’t help but sing to all in a row… ok it was on purpose. But that’s ok because it also means we get to hear “Heroes” by Alesso and “Under the Stars” by Kaskade & Thomas Sagstad vs. Morning Parade.
For those that like their music a little dirtier we’ve got Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Moguai kicking things off with “Body Talk,” followed by “Resistance” courtesy of Knife Party, and one of my favorites, “Mufasa” by Laidback Luke and Peking Duck. Oh yeah, you’ll also find Benny Benassi’s “Shooting Helicopters” as well as Zeds Dead’s “Lost You” later on in the playlist, in case you’re into that sort of thing.
If you’re heading to EZOO at any point this weekend, have fun. If you’re not, just put this playlist on repeat and it’ll be like you’re there! Ok… that’s a lie, but it’s better than nothing. One last thing, stay hydrated out there. 😉
