Brace Yourself for Buku: 2019 Lineup Drops Next Week

Since it’s inaugural year in 2012, The Buku Project has been discovering new depths within the music festival scene – and doing so relentlessly. Cohesively combining the colorful city vibes of New Orleans and Mardi Gras culture with world-renowned artists and state-of-the-art production, it’s safe to say that Buku has been busting through barriers since the beginning. Here we are, nearly 7 years later, sitting at the edge of our seats awaiting the 2019 lineup to drop – and odds are, it will land with a thud. Set to be announced sometime next week, The Buku Project will be delivering a delectable bill of talent to ignite the excitement within us to get #TooBuku come March 22-23 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

With names like Bassnectar, Migos, MGMT, Illenium and more on last year’s lineup, Buku has consistently cranked out lineups that appeal to all walks of life – whether you’re a basshead, hip-hop fanatic, or indie-alternative die-hard.

2019 will see the likes of 6 magnificently mind-blowing stages, some of them OG’s (The Powerplant, Ballroom, and Float Den), some of them new and improved to give the grounds a fresh feel (The Wharf, Front Yard, and VIP). No matter where you find yourself within this psychedelic subculture of NOLA, you are sure to witness some weird and wonderful sights from left to right – including but not limited to: a bold brigade known as the Buku Breakers – an eclectic bunch of break dancers doing their thing amidst the madness, street art and graffiti galore, unique underground warehouse parties accompanied by massive Mardi Gras floats, and much more. Typical festival stuff, right?

Limited time remains to snag your GA and VIP tickets before prices go up, so cop them HERE before the lineup drops. Gather your #BUKrewes and we’ll catch you on the flip side, friends.
