The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival Kicks Off Its 7th Anniversary.
Since its inception in 2008 The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival has been one of the most innovative and forward thinking events in the world of electronic music. Showcasing an incredible myriad of talent, the BEMF has established itself as a necessary platform for the cultivation of progressive music talent. By incorporating an array of emerging and well established artists, as well as showcasing a host of the boroughs’ best venues, the BEMF has set itself apart from any other festival here in the States. The beauty of this festival is found in it’s simplicity, it’s two nights of celebrating phenomenal music, discovering new artist and embracing this bizarre but amazing community that we share.
When you arrive at the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival you won’t see dazzling stage setups or have confetti rain down on you from the heavens, but what you will find is an unmatched passion on the dance floor, a savvy crowd in every venue, and the thrill of discovering new incredible music. The BEMF will be kicking off today in Williamsburg Brooklyn at 9 fantastic venues. The line up includes a wide array of musical talent including, Machinedrum, Lindsey Lowend, Shift K3y, Route 94, Aeroplane, Eats Everything, Chris Malinchak and many more. The BEMF will also be holding special panels, as well cross-over events with the Boiler Room.
