BUKU Phase 2 Lineup Adds a Variety of Awesome New Artists
Winter means one thing for us festival folk: lineup announcements. This week has been full of great lineup additions, including the official Phase 2 lineup of BUKU Music & Art Project. With the way this fall has been speeding into winter, the festival is right around the corner. That means we only have to wait another few months until another festival season goes into full swing.
Sadly, we will have to wait until 2018 to see the third and final phase of the lineup, but that doesn’t stop us from getting excited about what we’ve seen so far. The first wave of the lineup brought an electronic heavy ticket with the likes of Bassnectar, MGMT, SZA, Alison Wonderland, Sylvan Esso, and Borgore. BUKU is known for having one of the most diverse lineups on the festival circuit and this second wave is bringing our faith back with some heavy hitting hip-hop and rock artists. Check out the additions below:
Migos, Virtual Self (Porter Robinson’s new alter ego), A Day to Remember, Rezz, Little Dragon, Bonobo, Ganja White + Boogie T, Jay Electronica, Snakehips, Gryffin, Jai Wolf, Green Velvet, Rich The Kid, Famous Dex, Falling in Reverse, Princess Nokia, Elohim, Spag Heddy, Lil Xan, Emo Nite LA, The Russ Liquid Test, Nnamdi Ogbonnaya, New Thousand, AF the Naysayer x Yung Vul, KTRL. B2B RedBarrington and KiddLove, and the Soulection showcase will feature Sango B2B ESTA. B2B The Whooligan.
As if this all wasn’t overwhelming enough, BUKU just announced a lineup of artists hitting only the VIP section at BUKU: Graves, Medasin, Ducky, BlackGummy, Squnto, and TVBOO as well as showcases from Freewater, Church* and BUKU’s non-profit partner Upbeat Academy.
