Camp Barefoot Music & Arts Festival Celebrates Ten Years
Camp Barefoot Music & Arts Festival released the first part of their artist lineup today, but that wasn’t their only news.
The festival released a public statement on Tuesday morning announcing a change in venue for their tenth year running; Pegasus Farm Campground in Elkins, WV:
“We are thrilled for another year of Camp Barefoot, our 10th year anniversary! Camp Barefoot 4 was our first year in Bartow, WV. The campground and Pocahontas County opened their arms to us and we grew that relationship over the next 5 years. The town of Bartow and the Campground became our second home. Every time we entered into Pocahontas County we felt the weight of the world lifted off our shoulders. As our event and campground grew we both knew that one day we would have to move our event to another location. It is kind of like the transitions in your schooling. It is a sad day but one that will offer many new opportunities. We have much love and respect for Camp Hidden Meadows, Bartow, and Pocahontas County.
Over the last few years we have researched other areas along the Mid-Atlantic. A lot of factors go into looking for a new location as many of you know. What fits right for some won’t work for others. We really wanted to stay in the same region as many of our fans have also grown fond of the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. We found a beautiful location called Pegasus Farm Campground in Elkins, WV. Many of you that attended Camp Barefoot knew this location as the closest town to Bartow. It is 45 minutes down the road from our previous location on the other side of the mountains. Over the next few weeks we will be releasing more details about our location, ticketing options, and band releases.
Love you all,
The Camp Barefoot Family”
The music festival called Bartow, WV home since Camp Barefoot 4.
