This summer will mark the 12 annual Camp Bisco, the Disco Biscuits’ very own festival. From July 11-13, 2013 festival goers from all across the country will hail to the sleepy and beautiful Mariaville, NY, just 30 minutes outside of New York’s state capital. Camp Bisco is one epic festival: it’s a regular part of many Top Ten and Best Of lists, including being nominated “Music Festival of the Year” by Pollstar Magazine and named one of the “Top Ten Summer Music Festivals” by Forbes Traveler. Anyone who’s been to Camp Bisco knows: this is one festival that people keep coming back to year after year.
Each year, the competitiveness of festivals increases as more and more enter the scene. To meet with the growing demand of creating a unique experience, this year Camp Bisco plans to expand and make a more interactive event. The massive dance tents will feature surround sound and there will be greater concert production on all the stages. Patrons this year can also expect to see large-scale art installations, artist workshops, performance art demonstrations, carnival rides, and more.
What can we expect to see this year that we saw last year? There again will be shuttles for near-by major cities: Albany, Philly, NYC, Baltimore, and Boston. Again, the festival will be 18+. And, of course, you can expect to see a killer line-up. Camp Bisco is known for bringing the best leading and up-and-coming electronic acts and we can expect this year to be no different. Think you know what the line-up is going to look like this summer? Then consider entering the Sensible Reason Fantasy Lineup Contest here!
