This Weekend: The Capitol Theatre Welcomes The Disco Biscuits + The New Deal

There is just one final sleep before the takeover so many have been not-so-patiently awaiting begins. The Capitol Theatre has been busy preparing for the biggest display of lasers and jamtronica that Port Chester, NY has ever seen, not to mention the massive influx of jam fans coming to take over the town. The Disco Biscuits and The New Deal are gearing up to play the stunning theater for the first time ever. This very special weekend of performances will not only be a once (well, twice) in a lifetime event, it will also be extremely intimate. Intimate Biscuits… sounds like a tasty side project.

With a miniscule 2,000 person limit, fans and new jam recruits have been scrambling for tickets for weeks. Jam family members from all over the country are braving snowstorms and cancelled flights to make their way to this weekend of pure magic. Although these two magic shows are ones you absolutely should not miss, it seems that lately every Disco Biscuits show should not be missed by anyone. They continuously impress and amaze their crowds, drawing more and more flocks to the shows following. It seems, my friends, that you made it just in time!

After the two shows in Port Chester this weekend (3/25-3/26), you can catch the Biscuits swigging craft beers out of pint glasses with their faces on them in Atlanta, Georgia the weekend of the Nughuffer’s holiday for the SweetWater 420 Fest. They can be found next a mile high at the Ogden Theater in Denver, Colorado (June 1-3) and even higher at Red Rocks Amphitheater (June 4). The Philly boys will travel next to  the magical Sherwood Forest in Rothbury, Michigan for Electric Forest to jam among the trees, with Cheese! The final stop on the summer journey of jam (so far) is a triumphant return to Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA for Camp Bisco (July 14-16).

Throughout the whole journey, no matter when you joined our crazy jam-venture, the true meaning of family has become abundantly clear. This band’s fans are some of the best and most passionate in the scene. The whole point and driving force is the music, and they’ll get it to you any way they can.

Thank goodness for this awesome future and live streaming shows. No matter where you are in the world (I streamed the Halloween shows from the jungle of Costa Rica), if you’re unable to attend the legendary Capitol Theatre shows in person, you can still be right there with us. The band recently announced that both shows will be available for live streaming straight from home. is our consistent live stream host and the fans of The Disco Biscuits are always and forever grateful. Find that link here and don’t miss out!
