Come Celebrate 4/20 With Dirtyphonics, Funtcase, & Habstrakt @ Output!
Get ready for a serious sensory overload, as three of the most electrifying acts in electronic music join forces for a filthy night of bass music this 4/20. Worldwide drum and bass phenomenon Dirtyphonics, will be joined by the always ferocious FuntCase, and fellow Frenchman Habstrakt, as the North American Neckbreaker Tour rips it’s way through New York City, presented by MeanRed (TICKETS HERE). This April 20th, Brooklyn staple, Output, will be opening it’s doors for what is sure to be one of the wildest shows of the year, as bass heads flock to its halls for an epic celebration. This collection of mad acts picked the perfect date to stop through the Empire City and light it up, so make sure to celebrate the holiday with ruthless bass music! The mere thought of these three artists’ absurd beats machine gunning through Output’s glorious Fuktion-1 sound system has me absolutely salivating.
As one of the most devious names in the world of bass music and a group we especially like here at Sensible Reason, Dirtyphonics have become bonafide superstars in the world of drum and bass. Known for their devil may care attitude and relentless live performances, Dirtyphonics are always ready to supply a heavy dose of savagery. Whenever these madmen from France get behind the decks, you can expect exceptional musicianship coupled with heart-pounding adrenaline. Dirtyphonics is one of the only electronic music groups out there that really embody an old school rock star quality. If you’ve never had the chance to see Dirtyphonics for yourself, trust me when I tell you that they are required listening for any true fan of bass music.
Hardly in need of an introduction, James Hazell a.k.a FuntCase is easily one of the most infamous names in electronic music today. His unruly style has made him a highly sought after baron of bass. As one of the many boisterous lieutenants of Flux Pavilion’s and Doctor P’s Circus Records, Funtcase has carved out a huge following for himself. The Bournemouth native developed his filthy style through a mix of his love for heavy metal and drum and bass. Since he skyrocketed to stardom, Funtcase’s trademark ‘angry hands’ and mask have become things of legend. With this maestro of madness setting the stage for Dirtyphonics, 4/20 is most definitely going to be lit situation — a “lituation” if you will.
Rounding out this superb lineup is the extremely versatile Habstrakt. Well versed in dubstep, house, and drum and bass, Habstrakt has the chops to stack up with anyone. The talented young Frenchman has certainly been on the rise over the last couple of years and he will be on hand to unleash his wildly impressive discography.
From start to finish this 4/20 show is going to be an absolute forest fire, and you definitely need to be in the building for all the insanity. Grab your tickets here while prices are still low and get ready to celebrate the holidays in style!
