Consider The Source Invades Sullivan Hall This Weekend
Whenever the topic turns to the best unknown band, Consider The Source inevitably comes up, but that likely won’t be the case for long. These tireless road warriors have been touring the globe with their infectious brand of virtuoso Sci-Fi Middle Eastern fusion for the past decade. This weekend the instrumental trio will bring the back home to New York City for a two night stand at downtown jam haven Sullivan Hall.
The group will be joined by like-minded compatriots displaying the breadth of their genre mastery. Friday night is dubbed Prog Metal Mania and features the video game prog metal of ARMCannon and the instrumental prog of Kings of Prussia. Saturday is A World Affair with Zetizen tackling John Zorn‘s expansive Book of Masada and Abraxas bringing the avant garde.
Doors open at 8:30 PM both nights and music will begin at 9:00 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of show. There are also 2-day passes available.
