Pretty Lights will be playing at the inaugural CounterPoint Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia September 27-29. In Spring 2011 Pretty Lights placed on Pollstar’s Top 50 grossing concert tours chart. Pretty Lights appeared at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, Identity, Norway’s Oslo Live and Poland’s Audioriver and Red Rocks Amphitheater and has just announced last week that he’ll be co-curating and headlining their first “With Your Friends” festival in October on the Nashville, TN waterfront.
Pretty Lights has been on tour all this summer 2012. Derek Vincent Smith, DJ and creator of Pretty Lights, is constantly improving his visuals, lights and sounds; every time the crowd is ecstatic. We love Pretty Lights’ followers and fans the show is always a blast. Pretty Lights makes organic, electronic party beats that keep the whole crowd moving and listening. Look forward to seeing Pretty Lights at this years first CounterPoint Music Festival.

Saturday September 29 – Bassnectar
Bassnectar is currently on his 2012 World Tour. Prior to CounterPoint Bassnectar will be playing a string of shows throughout Europe. Bassnectar, also known as Lorin Ashton, makes heavy beat music paired with awesome visuals. The music of Bassnectar is varied and hypnotic.
We love to see Bassnectar live as he DJs and pushes the crowd. He has recently remixed and collaborated with the likes of Ellie Goulding, Gogol Bordello, KRS-One, Perry Farrel, Fever Ray, Spearhead, STS9, Buckethead, Z-trip, Diplo, BT, ill.Gates, 6Blocc, DJ Vadim, RJD2, and Jantsen among many others. Summer 2012 has also been busy for Bassnectar, having played Coachella, Wakarusa, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, EDC Vegas, Camp Bisco and other festivals all over the globe.
