Daft Punk to Play the Trash Fence at Burning Man?!
Were you one of the lucky few to snag tickets to Burning Man this year? We have good news for you! It has been rumored that a famous artist or duo is set to play the Trash Fence at Burning Man this year. But who could it be?
As the Burner community is getting ready to embark on a journey to the Black Rock Desert in late August/early September, surprise acts and celebrity guest appearances are no strange occurrence to the week-long arts festival. The Trash Fence – the closing boundary of deep playa – is set for two main purposes: the first being to catch any trash or clutter that might have been blown away and the second, as a meeting spot to witness the unexpected.
The art theme for this year’s festival will be Da Vinci’s Workshop focused around moving art pieces and sculptures that will be sure to stop you in your tracks. Black Rock City will travel back in time to the Renaissance era bringing this theme to life, and with it, so many surprises are still in store.
As the festival is gaining more and more popularity each year, its organizers are keen on making the experience more interesting than not. Keeping this in mind, the Trash Fence (spreading over two miles long) is the ideal destination to hit an exclusive pop-up set. They say the best time for such occurrence usually takes place at dawn, so this means prep well and plan accordingly. You don’t want to miss any of the playa magic!
Rumors of past Trash Fence shows include Daft Punk, The Beatles, Madonna, Diplo, Jamie Jones and many more. Do you think you will be lucky enough to catch one of these magical Burning Man sets this year?
We hope to see you at the Trash Fence!
