Dirtybird Campout 2016 Dates Announced
Calling all campers! Do you want to experience your days of summer camp all over again? How about a music festival that breaks the barriers between artist and festival-goer? Well now is your chance! Mark your calendars because your favorite camping festival is coming back to Southern California this year on October 7th, 8th, and 9th! That’s right, Dirtybird Records has finally announced the much anticipated return of The Dirtybird Campout Festival.
The campgrounds will once again be stationed at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA. This location is described as serene, situated next to a beautiful lake with a breathtaking view of the mountains. More information on the venue can be found HERE.
Now this isn’t your normal music festival. This is a one of a kind campout. Dirtybird Campout is a full-blown experience providing all of your most beloved summer camp memories like archery, hiking, arts and crafts, kickball, and well, of course, dancing! The best part? All of the fun is right alongside of the Dirtybirds themselves who are some of the most active participants in the fun! Mornings at camp are kicked off with yoga or sunrise sets while the evenings are full of our summer camp classics like talent shows and s’mores. Each camper arriving for the weekend is put on a team. These teams not only spend the weekend dancing away to their favorite tech house tunes, but battle each other to take home the title of winning team in all of the favorite camp events.
At camp, the walls separating the artists and campers themselves are brought down as artists partake in the fun right alongside the festival-goers. Attendees have played tug-of-war with Claude, slipped and slid with Justin Martin, and danced the night away with J. Phlip. These experiences between artists and fans at the Dirtybird Campout create a unique sense of unity, brought together by the universal language that is appreciation for great music.
