Don’t Miss Out: Fool’s Paradise Late Night Tickets On Sale January 19
Set your alarm and get your coffee ready, ticket sales for Fool’s Paradise late night shows are opening Tuesday, January 19 at 10:00am. With Lettuce, The Nth Power, Chris Robinson’s Soul Revue, and GRiZ bringing the funk all day, and Vulfpeck, Break Science, Goldfish and a Fools for Funk Supergroup keeping the party going late at night, you never know who else will show up to throw down. The late night action is going down at the Elk’s Lodge in St. Augustine, Florida on April 1-2 following the main event at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. There are a very limited number of tickets available that are expected to sell out quickly, so don’t sleep in and get left on the curb.
Michigan-based studio session rhythm section turned old-school funk/soul powerhouse Vulfpeck is set to join Break Science on night one. Fresh off of a national television appearance on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, the band has been promoting their most recent release “Thrill of the Arts,” which The Wall Street Journal called “gritty, in-your-face, not-prettified funk played with fire.” Vulfpeck might be marketing geniuses (check out this hilarious video promoting their silent album used to support their 2014 “Spotify funded Vulfpeck tour”) but they are without question creating some of the funkiest music out there at the moment.
Night two will feature “organic house” electronic duo Goldfish out of South Africa, and a yet to be determined Fools of Funk Supergroup that will undoubtedly be blowing the roof off the the Elk’s Lodge. Goldfish’s “genre-defying mix of live instruments, house beats and searing live performances” has launched them into the Top 10 US iTunes dance charts, and has found them selling out shows around the world.
