Elements Music and Art Festival Set to Celebrate Fifth Year Anniversary in the Bronx
After a wildly successful exploration into art and music at Elements Lakewood 2018 back in May, BangOn! NYC’s iconic Elements Music and Art Festival will be returning for it’s fifth annual run on Saturday, August 11th in Hunts Point, Bronx.
Tapping into one of its most exciting lineups to date, this years roster welcomes headliners Bassnectar, Emancipator, Desert Dwellers, Goldfish, Snakehips, SNBRN, Dirtybird Players Justin Jay & Sacha Robotti and 30+ other artists to its trademark industrialized, somewhat dystopian-styled waterfront. With an abundance of quality artists, interactive performances, visual technology an top rated musicians – Elements NYC continues to host an event that incorporates some highly eccentric and unique production assets that make it well-worth the hype.
Committed to overall experience and presentation, the BangOn!NYC crew strives to go beyond just the music. One example of this can be noted with the festivals’ uniquely crafted stages that represent one of the 4 universal elements: earth, water, fire and air. With a history of diverse lineups – the festival team goes extra lengths each year to meticulously place each scheduled artist at a stage that best encompasses their sound, presence and overall energy.
This year’s lineup highlights several musical genres, ranging from dubstep and house to funk-jam and hop hop. As seen on the 2018 daily schedule, heavyweight emotional acts such as Bassnectar and downtempo Emancipator will throw down at the Earth Stage while silky-smooth artists like SNBRN and Goldfish grace the cooler-flowing Water Stage. The upbeat Dirtybird Players will take over the lively Fire Stage, and more melodic, up-and-coming performers like Dance Spirit (Live) and Lost Desert will rise up and land over at the Air Stage.
Going beyond the music, Elements NYC succeeds in creating a truly unique and immersive experience through additional creative realms, like art instillations and visual technology. This year, ‘Art of the Future’ will be featuring a selection of other-worldly displays from 14 different artists. The interactive concepts, installations and showings are designed to attract and captivate festival attendees and will be scattered throughout the festival ground throughout the day.
Keeping health and wellness in mind, Elements NYC will also be hosting an abundance of workshops during the day like bass yoga, sound healing and meditation sessions. Field games and a plethora of on-site food and drink vendors will be serving some tasty combos to refuel and recharge, and water refill stations will be readily available and free of charge.
With an abundance of quality artists, interactive performances, visual technology and some of today’s top rated musicians – Elements NYC Music and Art Festival continues to provide an eccentric and memorable experience that’s a summertime must for music lovers on the East Coast.
