Envision Track of the Day: “Rain on the World” by Random Rab & Cedar Miller

Random Rab has become a legendary name on the festival circuit, and for good reason. In addition to gifting festival audiences with epically beautiful and moving sunrises sets, the producer has a knack for telling stories through emotionally touching music with mysterious melodies.

“Rain on the World” is a track off of Random Rab’s latest LP entitled Release. The track is soothing like a quiet rainstorm on a lazy Sunday afternoon; its chill-evoking male vocals are flawlessly complemented by the track’s percussive elements and gorgeous rhythm. “Rain on the World” fills the listener with a calming sense of hope while pleasing the ears. This song is more than the storm, its discovering the rainbow after it has passed.

Although I’ve caught more Random Rab sets that I can count, it would make my heart burst with happiness to witness him play this song during a sun rise on the beach of Costa Rica at Envision Festival. He is on the lineup this year, so this is definitely a possibility.
