Experience the Magic of EDC Orlando
It’s not everyday that you come across an event that integrates both world-class electronic music acts and exhilarating theme-park rides into one fairytale of fun – but that’s what the touring festival Electric Daisy Carnival, aka EDC, has learned to perfect over the years since it’s origination. EDC has grown to epic proportions and only continues to increase in popularity, having started off as a relatively small one-day festival and progressed into a massive weekend-long dance party. “Now hosted annually at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as a three-day event, EDC is one of the nation’s largest music festivals, and North America’s largest dance music event with attendance and acclaim topping even the most well-known mainstream music festivals”, as stated on the festival’s Facebook. This gathering of music, art, and thrilling activities occurs not only throughout North America, but has also expanded internationally to countries such as Brasil and Mexico, showing popularity on a global scale.
Electric Daisy Carnival will be making it’s annual pitstop in Orlando at Tinker Field from November 6th-7th 2015, and by no surprise, the lineup is stacked with incredible artists from multiple genres of EDM. Just a handful of the acts included on the 2015 lineup are Bassnectar, Alison Wonderland, Tiesto, Kaskade, Paul Van Dyk, Andy C, Excision, and Calvin Harris, plus plenty of other names as seen below.
What sets this festival apart from the majority of festivals out there is the entertainment offered, aside from all of the amazing musical talent. I’m not talking about one measly ferris wheel or Starship ride, either. EDC ensures that your festival experience is thoroughly enjoyed from all aspects by making it possible for you to view your favorite headlining acts from their state-of-the-art rides; imagine yourself watching Kaskade or Bassnectar from the top of their elaborately illuminated and massive ferris wheel, or soaring in a whirlwind of lights on the swing-chair rides as you watch lasers shoot across the crowd when the beat drops. Also, just as any successful festival should, EDC offers a multitude of visual arts and live art performances, from awe-inspiring paintings and murals being worked on during the festival to lovely ladies dancing across the stage in intricate and festive costumes, to play along with the festival’s carnival theme.
Tickets to this 2-day event are still available on the EDC Orlando website here.
