Fool’s Paradise Just Got Even Funkier With Second Round Additions
Fool’s Paradise Festival just got a lot more foolish with their second round artist lineup announcement. The good folks over at Purple Hat Productions, along with Live For Live Music and Lettuce, have announced that Snarky Puppy’s Cory Henry will be joining the party as an Artist-at-Large, while Electro-Soul Producers Marvel Years and “Future Brass” duo Brasstracks have been added to the bill along with hometown favorites Herd of Watts out of Jacksonville, Winter Park rockers The Groove Orient, Morning Fatty bringing the Electro-Funk , and St. Augustine’s own Love Chunk.
The recently added artists are joining the already huge April Fool’s Day lineup featuring two sets from Lettuce, plus a GRiZ with Lettuce live band collaboration set, Chris Robinson’s Soul Revue featuring Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Eric Krasno (Soulive/Lettuce), Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power), Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) & The Shady Horns, and the Fools for Funk Supergroup TBA. In addition to the stacked festival schedule, Fool’s Paradise has lined up Vulfpeck, Break Science, and Goldfish to throw down for some Late Night funk each night.
With even more artists expected to be announced in the coming months, plus ‘artist excursions’ and collaborations galore, the first annual Fool’s Paradise is set to be one of the funkiest events of the year. The late night shows featuring Vulfpeck, Break Science, Goldfish, and the Fools for Funk Supergroup are expected to sell out, so make sure to pick up your tickets as soon as possible.
