Why the Forest? Edition 7/9 – Her Forest Program

Attending a festival on your own can be both invigorating and scary. For women, it can also be dangerous, especially at a camping festival. But women should never feel like they cannot do something simply because they’re women. Women should also be encouraged to build lasting relationships with other like-minded females. The people of Electric Forest want every attendee to feel safe and welcome. In 2016, Her Forest was born. This week’s 7th edition of Why the Forest? explores what Her Forest has to offer for all those who identify as women.

“We explore the Forest together. We see music together. We circle up. We boogie down. We morning flow. We Sunday brunch. This camp is all about supporting the vision of Forest Family women.”

HF Group Camp

Her Forest is a campground for all those who identify as women who are attending the festival alone or seeking an experience that builds community with other Forest women. This unique campground brings these beautiful creatures together to be themselves and truly enjoy the festival experience in a safe environment. Each woman in the group helps to build the space, and add their own contributions from tapestries to cooking skills. Space is limited, so sign up now!
