Lets Be Friends
This UK group just started in 2013 with their release of their ep ‘EP 1’ and they are already the ‘DJ Crush’ of Mysteryland (for real). You can check out their ‘Full Flavored Dance Music’ this Saturday at Mysteryland on the Boat from 3-4pm! You can also listen to their recent release of their remix of the Mysteryland anthem, ‘White Rabbit,’ here!
Oliver Heldens’ recent house track ‘Gecko’ has brought him into the international limelight. The track on YouTube has nearly 2 million views and is a staple on EDM radio stations and podcasts. Heldens hails from the Netherlands, which is also the origins of Mysteryland! You can be sure to check him out on the Mainstage Saturday from 2-3pm!
Philly-based Josh Wink has been around for well over 20 years and is seen as a legendary and historic figure in house music. Wink started his house label Ovum in 1994 and quickly began to escalate in international recognition. He currently serves up his own tracks that are greatly reminicent of original house sounds, while keeping up with the times and maintaining a unique sound that is fresh and innovative. A great example that he’s keeping up with the times, Josh Wink maintains a 1 hour session on Sirium XM, all available for free here. Check out Josh Wink this weekend at Mysteryland for his Ovum 20th Anniversary set at the Vinyl Only stage on Saturday from 11pm-1am.
Performing tonight, Friday, at Mysteryland is Austin-based duo Tritonal. Their first album, Piercing the Quiet, immediately brought them international attention, and their EP triology Metomorphosis also has been turning a lot of heads and anticipation for the 3rd release, which is expected to come out soon, is high.
Canadian brothers, DVBBS, are probably most known for their track with Borgeous, “Tsunami,” which literally has 21 million hits on YouTube. Recently they released a much sunnier track with Sander van Doorn and Martin Garrix, “Gold Skies,” which is an awesome summer anthem and was literally just released about a week ago and already has over 1 million views. DVBBS doesn’t release many originals for free, but “Gold Skies” is so good we’re just going to put it here anyway, followed by a remix of a DVBBS track which you can download for free. Check out DVBBS this Sunday from 4:30-6pm on the Main Stage!
With every year, Bro Safari gets bigger and badder. One of the original trap DJs from ATL, Bro Safari has been playing to massive crowds at major electronic music festivals such as TomorrowWorld and Ultra. You definitely know Bro Safari. If you don’t you must not actually listen to music, in which case, good thing you’re planning on going to Mysteryland to get your lifetime dosage of dirty, sexy beats assailing your ears and blowing your mind all weekend long. You know his track “Animals,” which actually came from the LP Animals, which was available for free download. Grab it here, plus his whole Ultra set, and then thank Bro Safari on social media for always being so generous with his fans. Oh, and don’t forget to check him out Sunday at the Boat from 9:30-10:30pm:
