Geoff Rickly To Headline Show at Maxwells
Geoff Rickly will headline a one off show at the legendary Maxwells in Hoboken, New Jersey on Friday, May 29th 2015. As the former front man of the renowned New Jersey punk band Thursday, Geoff will be playing a combination of acoustic hits and songs from his solo career. Also featured on the bill will be up and coming singer Meghann Wright (Brooklyn, NY), Gatherer (Equal Vision Records) (Bayonne, NJ) and Help Me | Help You (Hoboken, NJ).

Geoff Rickly is a singer and songwriter from Dumont, New Jersey. He is most known for forming the alternative rock/post-hardcore band Thursday. The band got its start playing basement shows in New Brunswick and surrounding New Jersey and New York areas. Thursday went on to tour the world, gaining international praise and releasing six studio albums. After a hiatus in 2012, Rickly went on to become the frontman of the experimental punk supergroup United Nations and alternative rock supergroup No Devotion.
This will be Gatherer’s second show at Maxwells since signing to Equal Vision Records. Gatherer will be playing in support of their release of “God Deluxe”. The band recently returned from a full US tour in support of their new signing. Help Me | Help You, will be making their first appearance at Maxwells since the venue re-opened in late 2014.
