World’s Largest Warhol: The old gray dome of Tacoma, Washington‘s stadium is a little outdated. Luckily, someone is trying to spice it up a bit. In 1981, Andy Warhol created a larger than life design and submitted it for a competition to give the dome a little more oomph, but it was a little too over the top for city officials then. Well, the Warhol has finally caught up with the times and might be the next big thing in Tacoma. Let art prevail!
The Bad: Sometimes we forget how fragile our every day lives can be. Here’s what’s going on elsewhere.
Afghanistan Helicopter Crash: A technical-problem-turned-tragic accident killed all passengers and crew from a Lynx helicopter in Afghanistan close to Kandahar Airfield. Mushrooms for Anxiety?: Psilocybin, found naturally in more than 200 species of mushrooms, has a long history of use by humans. According to studies, which have actually been going on since the end of World War II, it can help people with anxiety come to terms with the causes of their worries. The hallucinogenic experience it gives can give the patient insight on problems not so easily accessible in everyday thought. One patient went as far as saying: “At the hospital they gave me Xanax for anxiety. Xanax doesn’t get rid of your anxiety. Xanax tells you not to feel it for awhile until it stops working and you take the next pill. The beauty of psilocybin is: it’s not medication. You’re not taking it and it solves your problem. You take it and you solve your problem yourself.” The use of formally taboo medications is on the rise, and who knows, it could be pretty awesome for those whom other prescriptions have failed.

The actor has only been dating Alamuddin since last fall, so who knows how long it’ll last. But, if Clooney’s waited this long, maybe he’s finally found the one? Good luck, George!
