Since turning his attention to the project full time in 2015, Honolulu-born producer graves has steadily gained notoriety and respect from his peers. Now graves has planted a flag with the release of “I’m Fine,” the lead single from his forthcoming sophomore EP Far From Here.
“I’m Fine” represents an exceptionally honest and emotionally telling work from graves. With this latest effort, the Honolulu native taps into an earnest yet vulnerable emotional space. “I’m Fine” attempts to capture our need to sweep issues under the rug without asking for helping or addressing our hardships. Although pain is an inescapable aspect of the human condition it is still important for us to find a way, to be honest with ourselves and search for help if needed.
