Horizon Wireless, FiKus, and Laser Sex are Bringing the heat to NYC!
On December 30, Horizon Wireless and FiKus are going to blow up the Lower East Side as they headline the Phish after party at The Delancey. For anyone who has seen either of these acts before, you already know what is about to go down. And if you haven’t caught a FiKus or Horizon Wireless set, do yourself a favor and do NOT miss out on this very special bill. Whether you’re raging at Phish or Afrojack that night, The Delancey is where you are going to want to be afterward. With support from special guests Laser Sex and Business Casual Disco, this is going to be a night to remember.
Horizon Wireless, the rising drummer/DJ duo from New York City, will be performing a one-of-a-kind set you will never forget for your post-Phish entertainment. For those who are unfamiliar, Horizon Wireless blends together psychedelic break beat music with a variety of styles including disco, hip-hop, and lounge. Their sets are strung together in an extremely smooth and coherent fashion, which makes for an all-inclusive non-stop dance party through time and space. Make sure to wear your dancing shoes and bring a towel because they ALWAYS bring the heat.
Alongside Horizon Wireless, 5-piece band FiKus from Northern Jersey will be sure to get your feet moving with their
eclectic sound. With a wide range of influences and styles, their music is a perfect combination of rock, electro, funk and hip-hop. This band does not fit into one genre, and that’s what makes them rock. They are organically electrifying and can groove with the best of them, the musicianship is off the charts, and it is truly a treat just to watch these guys on stage together.
If you thought that was all, Business Casual Disco— the new DJ collective from Connecticut– will be getting the party started, and Laser Sex is heading over from Scranton, PA to join us for this special occasion and provide all the funk, dancerock, house, dubstep and electro you need for late into the night. This will be their first ever New York show, so let’s show them how it’s done!
After you are done Phishing, make sure to make you way down to The Delancey to keep the party going. Tickets are only $10. Doors are 11:30pm and the music starts at midnight. This late night throwdown will get your feet moving to bring in the New Year.
