Imagine Festival Diversifies Even More with Staggering Phase 2 Additions
Roughly 3 years ago, Imagine Music Festival was merely a budding two-day EDM event amongst a slew of dominant electronic music festivals that ran the Atlanta scene. Names like TomorrowWorld and Counterpoint Music Festival were once the face of this vastly expanding network of dance music, yet with the absence of these events in 2016, IMF has already become the most highly-anticipated and most promising party of all year. Having expanded to a full 3 days this year with the option of camping, the Iris Presents crew had to make locational arrangements that are able to accommodate what is sure to be the biggest Imagine to date. The Atlanta Motor Speedway is the festival’s new home, and is fully-equipped to endure tens of thousands of dancing feet, day in and day out, all weekend long from August 26-28. The phase 1 artist announcement reinstated everything we have come to know and love about this transformational gathering, with a smashing lineup including headliners Gramatik, Zeds Dead, Benny Benassi, Nero, Showtek, Dillon Francis and more, plus an insane amount of supporting artists. With that impressive of a phase 1, hopes were high for phase 2, which surpassed everything electronic music lovers could have ever hoped for. Electronic-inspired jam band The Disco Biscuits have joined the list, along with the legendary Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia, Arty, Minnesota, Ott & The All-Seeing I, Thomas Jack, and many, many more, completely changing up the genre game.
Imagine Music Festival, a 3-day camping electronic dance music festival in Atlanta, Georgia, has announced the second round of artists set to perform at the third annual event on August 26 – 28, 2016 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Joining an already impressive lineup of over 30 artists are: the Disco Biscuits; Steve Angello; Arty; DJ Hanzel; Minnesota; Ott & The All-Seeing I; Papadosio; Rain Man; Robbie Rivera; Snails; SNBRN; Thomas Jack; Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ set); Fyer; Leah Culver; Legion and Levitation Jones.
IMF is attributed with blending all kinds of electronic music, from the underground to the mainstream, which are complimented by aspects of a fully-immersive transformational event. Vividly and intricately designed stages are the basis of the visionary experience, and throughout the grounds you can find live art in the form of painting, cirque acts and aerial arts performers, as well as a broad array of extracurricular activities such as spiritual cereomonies and various workshops. Don’t miss out on your chance to purchase your tickets, which are still only $169 plus taxes and fees, and camping passes are available as well. Stay tuned into Imagine’s Facebook and Twitter for more artist additions and festival information.
