JAUZ is Going to Take a Bite Out of Orlando on ‘Friendzy’ Tour
Music has no boundaries – no limits, rules, or regulations to dictate how far you can create in this ever-expanding industry. If you’ve ever done yourself the favor of listening to LA-based producer JAUZ, you immediately recognize these four simple yet powerful words as the 21-year old’s central theme, the creed by which he produces music, a concept that his style represents wholeheartedly. From remixes to original tracks and everything in between, JAUZ aka Sam Vogel has been dominating in the electronic music scene recently with a sound that extinguishes any and all predetermined assumptions about what a genre “is” and “isn’t”.
Having gained enormous amounts of recognition from reputable artists over the last year, Vogel is rising to stardom more and more every day. With direct support and multiple collaborations from the likes of Skrillex, Borgore, Ephwurd, Diplo and more, JAUZ has become an icon within the world of EDM, with an intricately layered style that simply cannot be contained. Vogel’s sound is a diabolical blend of heavy bass, future house, dubstep, trap, and various tempos that keep you mesmerizingly engaged while listening. One doesn’t simply dance at a JAUZ set – you lose yourself amidst the madness, one drop you’re headbanging your little heart out and the next you’re shuffling across the dancefloor to a whole new beat, and that’s just the way it is.
During his ascent to the top, JAUZ cranked out a slew of epic remixes such as his remix of Riff Raff’s “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz”, Ed Sheeran’s “Sing”, and Tiga’s “Bugatti“, all of which have proved to be crowd-pleasing favorites.
Some of his biggest originals include “Feel The Volume“ ft. Fatman Scoop and a collaborative track with Pegboard Nerds, “Get On Up“. The 21-year old LA resident has also made appearances for multiple radio shows such as Diplo and Friends and UKF Music Podcasts and has performed in front of massive crowds at renowned events such as HARD SUMMER fest in LA.
Having just performed on Holy Ship festival, JAUZ will return to life on land come February 18th in Orlando (fingers crossed he doesn’t have a case of sea-legs after departing the ship). Crizzly will be his partner in crime on the ‘Friendzy’ tour pitstop at Gilt nightclub in Orlando, so things are going to get heavy. This dynamic duo is sure to put on an unforgettable show with Crizzly as musical support, and we can’t wait to see what these bass masterminds have in store for Otown.
