Keller Williams funks up the sold out crowd at The Haunt
Upon walking into The Haunt, I could feel the good energy and positive vibes floating through the air. This was a perfect place for a Keller show and I knew we were all in for a treat. My friends and I wandered down to the dance floor and grabbed our spot front row center!
As the dance floor filled up, the lights went down, and Keller emerged from a hallway playing his way onto the stage. Once in front of the mic, he flashed a smile that sent the crowd cheering with joy! Keller wasted no time getting everyone movin’ and groovin’. Busting into Steppenwolf”s Born To Be Wild was absolutely insane and the crowd went nuts. The highlight for me was when he dropped one of my favorite Phish songs, Birds Of A Feather.
Keller kicked off set two with I Am Elvis, which is the song I wanted to hear the most! He followed that up with Hearts Barracuda, which lead into fan favorite Kidney In The Cooler. Mid-set I noticed a chick throw a napkin on stage that said “Dogs Please.” I smiled and thought, I wouldn’t mind that. Then another one landed right in front of Keller, he looked at both of them and laughed and continued to play. When the third one hit the stage, Keller smiled and played it for her! Best Feeling was a perfect way to end the set!
The whole show was an amazing experience and super fun! I just hope that Keller doesn’t wait another 11 years before he returns to The Haunt again. Come back soon, Keller!
