Miami, FL (June 25, 2012) – Lights Out Festival, a one-day audio-visual playground helmed by Dementia Events, debuts with a breakthrough roster of both established and up-and-coming electronic artists, set to bounce eclectic beats through Soho Studios at the Wynwood Convention Center on July 21, 2012, from noon to 2 a.m. Anticipating a mix of 30+ national and local acts, the announced performer lineup at the two-stage, indoor-outdoor venue includes: Felix Da Housecat; RJD2; Felix Cartal; Run DMT; DJ Icey; Lucky Date; Alex Kenji; Crizzly; DJ Blend; Brass Knuckles; Helicopter Showdown; Seven Lions; Crespo; Eran Hersh & Darmon; Tyler Sherritt; The Digital Breed and VJ Psyberpixie. In addition, the big Lights Out Festival debut will be hosted by none other than Damian Pinto, the official voice of UMF.
Located in Wynwood, a booming mecca of originality and expression, Lights Out Festival will utilize the extensive, 70,000-square-foot lot at Soho Studios to infuse the venue with progressive tunes, stunning visual spectacles, unique live art installations and additional exhibits representative of Miami’s energetic counterculture. With plenty of dancing room to occupy, attendees will be able to travel between two stages. Led by Hypnotic Productions, the main stage will reside indoors, featuring Lights Out Festival’s more prominent acts, while the outdoor stage will serve as a Dementia Events tribute to Miami’s local, climbing acts. In addition to the open-air structure, the 13,050-square-foot al fresco space will be transformed into a vendor market, complete with local merchandisers, a full food court and a premium bar area.
Tickets for Lights Out Festival are now on sale and are available for online purchase at lightsoutfestival.com. General admission tickets are accessible for patrons age 16+, and start at $35, with a price increase in place every two weeks leading up to July 21, 2012. VIP tickets are priced at $70 for attendees 21+, and will include a VIP laminate, an elevated viewing experience, a VIP entrance, private, air-conditioned bathrooms and exclusive wait and bar service. Depending on availability, tickets can be purchased at the door. A percentage of ticket sales will benefit local music programs and Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
