Luna Light Blows Minds With Lineup Announcement
Luna Light Music & Arts Festival has announced its first phase lineup for the transformative, Fall festival in Darlington, MD, running October 13-16, 2016. Located one hour from Philadelphia and 45 minutes from Baltimore, the festival boasts nearly 60 performances, workshops, visual artists and lectures on six unique stages powered by Funktion One Sound Systems.
Among the first artists announced at the 2016 edition of Luna Light Music & Arts Festival is none other than British electronic producer/composer Tipper. Jamtronica pioneers Electron will be throwing festival-goers a deep, dark, dance party. The band is comprised of members of The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.
Canadian live-electronic outfit The New Deal will perform their signature blend of improvisational electro house, trance, breakbeat and drum & bass. Brooklyn piano-rocker Marco Benevento will be dishing out feel-good party music. Tom Hamilton’s American Babies will bring some good old working-class-rock into the mix, while fusion impresarios Dopapod color the sky with their beautifully orchestrated, palindrome-inspired light show. Ott & The All-Seeing I will deliver live-psychedelic dub from Britain, by way of outer space.
The festival also features futuristic, psychedelic house from Orchard Lounge’s Ben Silver, progressive dance music from Horizon Wireless, weirdo party-funk from The Hornitz, intense electro-prog from Manifested, synth-driven jams from Tweed, bleeps and bloops from Bells & Robes, and a tribute to Phish, Pink Floyd and The Talking Heads from the kings of jam, Pink Talking Fish.
The third-year festival is brought to you by Yellow Rock Entertainment, and its newest partner Deathwaltz Media Group, who have their hand in many of Philadelphia’s diverse concert venues.
Keep an eye out for the festival’s second phase lineup announcement, including nearly 40 more incredible acts from across the country!
