MK and Duke Dumont Return To Avant Gardner For Sold Out Show
Highly regarded house music masters, Duke Dumont and MK make their way to Avant Gardner in New York City on Saturday November 9th. Joining them on this stop will be Option4 who has been building momentum across America.
The resilience of Mark Kitchen has always been one of his strongest traits, from the beginning he worked under Kevin Saunderson in his hometown of Detroit to currently spearheading his own record label named Area 10 Records. Mark also known by his DJ name, MK has molded his sound over the years into a genre blending seminar incorporating the strong house roots he was raised with and combining it with sultry soul/rnb vocals. Creating songs that simultaneously make you want to sing and dance make a distinct vibe that only a handful of producers can recreate.
Duke Dumont hails from Harrow, England where he has been able to design a transcendental sound. His hit “Ocean Drive” has over 200 million streams on Spotify, a beautiful track that sails through the ears with a comfortable old school feel. Duke’s songs leave you wanting to hear more and this sold-out show won’t be his last in NY. I remember watching a set of his online in Ibiza going back 2 back with Gorgon City and that combination of forces was so true and real. MK’s style is going to complement Duke Dumont‘s to stamp their name in history with their sexy tunes.
Option4 was named by MK as a DJ to watch for in the year ahead. Based out of Denver, Option4 is looking to spread his reach with his 2nd NYC appearance this year. Performing alongside Duke Dumont and MK is a strong statement for any resume and Option4 has been working hard to showcase his variety that is “more house than tech. more deep than disco.”
