moe.’s Going Star Wars for Halloween in Philly
moe. returns to Philadelphia in just under two weeks for a very special Halloween show. On Saturday, October 31, the band will put on a Star Wars-themed show at the newly opened Fillmore. The band will also perform on Friday, October 30, with Scranton-based bluegrass-fusion band Cabinet opening for them. On its website and Facebook page, moe. has urged fans to prepare themselves, as well as costumes, for the big event. With the premiere of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens in just two months, Halloween seems as good a time as any to begin the celebrations.
Don’t forget about the music, either. moe. has been on the road all year performing every month. They are coming off of a solid headlining performance at Catskill Chill Music Festival in Hancock, NY and a 3-night run in Washington, D.C. last month, as well as a 2-night run in Boston earlier this month. Check out a video of part of their performance at Aura Music Festival this past March, featuring special guest Mike Dillon on drums, below. The combination of these forces is sure to result in a memorable night.
Tickets are running low, so grab yours here before they’re all gone – and may the force be with you!
