North Coast Music Festival Announces HUGE Surprise Headliner
A festival’s lineup is never guaranteed. Schedules change, contracts break, flights get delayed. These changes could mean missing a favorite artist, but this happens only rarely. One amazing aspect of the flexibility of these lineups is the fact that amazing artists can jump in at any time. The lineup for North Coast Music Festival dropped recently but that wasn’t all, folks. Today, North Coast announced additions to their lineup, and they are fantastic.
This year’s North Coast lineup (thus far) included Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, Gucci Mane, STS9, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Tipper, and more. But those blurred out names on the lineup are in full view. Sunday’s lineup had remained mostly shrouded in mystery thus far. But, NCMF welcomes Les Claypool with his iconic experimental funk band, Primus! Heading to the festival on Sunday night, these guys are bound to break the mold and bring some amazing tunes to close out the weekend. In addition, the festival welcomes recent powerhouses of bass music
In addition, the festival welcomes recent powerhouses of bass music Ganja White Night to the ticket. We can expect nothing less than their usual brand of crazy at this year’s festival. Also heading to Sunday’s lineup is Bob Moses “occupying the fertile ground between organic band land and an all-electronic production project!” Last, but far from least, Chicago natives Autograf head back to their native city to close out their extremely successful “Nobody Knows” tour.
Check out the full festival lineup below. North Coast drops September 1st-3rd in Union Park in Chicago.
