DJ Snake, Tchami, MALAA, & Mercer Announce Pardon My French Tour 2016
Our three favorite Frenchmen, DJ Snake, Tchami, and Mercer have already toured under the Pardon My French title once. However, this time they are back with a surprise for the US, bringing along their masked friend MALAA. With all recent suspicion surrounding the identity of MALAA, the States have been begging for more of the masked genius. Rumor has it that the talent behind the mask is none other than DJ Snake. Others have said that MALAA is actually both Tchami’s and DJ Snake’s side project, as both artists have the same manager. There are also rumors stating that all three are behind the scenes. This week, What So Not uploaded a post on Instagram saying they were MALAA.
No one can know for sure with all rumors floating around about this masked mystery, but the addition of MALAA to the second Pardon My French Tour is enough reason to catch these DJs on one of their six stops in the States.
These four have been making waves this year and have created a serious fan base. DJ Snake’s track “The Middle” from his upcoming album reached 50 million streams on Spotify. Tchami created his new label, Confessions, releasing multiple mixes on SoundCloud previewing his vision. Mercer recently released his track “Opium” off of his upcoming EP. Last but not least, MALAA, with his most recent release “Fade” drawing even more attention to the mystery.
These four together reach a considerable population of the dance music scene, as their sounds range from future house, to trap, to tech house.
They will stop through six major cities on their journey: Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and San Francisco. Be sure to check out the videos below previewing the tour and click HERE check out venues and tickets.
