PlayStation Party: New Year’s Eve with The Disco Biscuits
Times Square is a pretty rad place to be for the Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve, but only the elite know that the real party is happening underground in the PlayStation.
The Disco Biscuits again without fail will be gracing us with their presence in the theater formerly known as Best Buy, formerly known as Nokia, newly-dubbed Playstation Theater just in time for New Year’s Eve weekend. Clearly, the boys are no strangers to this fan-favorite New York City venue. They have played that same stage 28 times since 2008 and after another stellar New Year’s run they’ll be up to 32 shows. This will be the most shows played by the Biscuits at any one venue, even beating out their hometown venue, The Electric Factory.
Family follows where The Disco Biscuits lead and this December 30th to January 2nd, they’re leading us back to Times Square for another late late 4-night weekend extravaganza.
The tradition is evident and lingers in those hallowed halls. The New Year’s New York shows are the home-away-from-homecoming for the Biscuits and their fans. Everyone gathers in the same spots every year and you can always find your friends. This year we look forward to play time at the PlayStation. Every year the entire theater shakes with energy of joyous reunions and months of built up excitement, and that’s before the boys even start playing!
The Disco Biscuits happen to be Phish fans as well, so if you’re trying to decide which event to miss, you don’t have to! The Biscuits will open doors at 11pm each night (8pm on New Year’s Eve). So don’t miss the perfume and bring your ass to the party.
