Preview: Lotus at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live
Do you have a bad case of the winter blues? Have you been lacking that extra spring in your step? Luckily, Lotus is bringing a two-night heater to Baltimore’s Rams Head Live, providing the city and the band’s dedicated fans with a more than fitting outlet to warm up those bones and shake off the rust. They’ll take the stage on Friday, April 18, and on Saturday, April 19. Joining them on the run is the rage-worthy, four-piece electronic-rock sensation, Zoogma.
Lotus, a five piece with roots in Philly, will of course be headlining, bringing to the stage their intoxicating blend of jamtronic soundscapes, progressive rock, and jam/trance-fusion. But if I were you, I’d be sure to check out the opening act, Zoogma, too, who boast high energy live performances and a blend of sounds that appeals to a wide range of audiences. No doubt this band will set the tone for the run, and each night. Tickets for the shows, which are available online for $25 before fees, can be found here.
The two-night run will conclude a stellar spring tour which has the band playing two nights at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on April 11th and April 12th, and a much anticipated three nights at the 21+ Brooklyn Bowl in New York from April 14th through 16th. You can find their current tour schedule here.
Doors open at 7:30pm, and the show starts at 9pm. Come prepared to fire yourself up and get down to some of the finest jamtronica currently on tour.
