RAQ to Play Late Night Sets at Brooklyn Bowl, 1/24 & 1/25
RAQ will be heading to New Yorks most beloved venue, Brooklyn Bowl, this Friday and Saturday for a late night set following a separate show by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe ($20). RAQ will begin at midnight on both nights and will be a 21+ show. Tickets are $15 and are available here.
The late night shows at BK Bowl precede opening for the Disco Biscuits at the Electric Factory in Philly on 2/21 (read more about it). RAQ has also recently added a few other tour dates: Feb 22 in Syracuse at the Westcott; March 6 in Cambridge, MA at The Sinclair; and March 8 in Providence, RI at The Spot Underground.
Not familiar with RAQ? This is a great description from their Facebook page:
One of the reasons behind RAQ’s highly successful tour past is due to their compositions being grounded in solid song structures, but still being malleable enough to go in infinite directions in the live setting. This keeps the quartet’s devout following and first time listeners yearning for more as the audience is taken along on the collective journey. Their extensive repertoire of original compositions and eclectic selection of covers give the band the freedom to create a unique set list for every show.
