React Presents: Reaction NYE 2k16
Alright, dance fans of the Midwest, it’s time to poop your pants. React Presents has done it again. On a sheer mission to out-do themselves when it comes to anything they’ve done in the past, they have just announced Reaction NYE, the biggest and baddest 2-day New Year’s Eve event in the area. Headliners for this event are no big deal…but you should check the cleanliness of your undies after you see that Deadmau5 and Skrillex will be coming together for the same event in the Midwest for the first time in over 5 years!
This year’s Reaction is located just 20 minutes outside of downtown Chicago at the Donald E. Stephen’s Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Why so “far,” you ask? These guys needed to find enough space for the two stages which will hold “mesmerizing visual production and state-of-the-art sound and lighting, along with elegant dance performers, diamond-clad decor, and intricate art installations.” Organizers are promising to showcase 25+ artists over the course of 16 total hours of music in a place that has plenty of room for you to shake your booty. Basically, they want to make sure you sweat your fanny off dancing, even if it is -20 below outside. No need to worry about hotel or transportation either, React has you covered. They’ve partnered with 5 hotels in the area – Crown Plaza Chicago-O’Hare, Chicago Marriott Suites O’Hare, Hilton Rosemont Chicago O’Hare, Sheraton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, and Aloft Chicago O’Hare, who will provide ticket holders with special reduced rates and free shuttle services going to and from the venue for those who book rooms there. The venue is also a short walk from the trusty Blue Line which runs to and from the city 24/7 for very low rates.
The lineup for this year has something to please everyone. From dance music to rap music to good ol’ indie music, Reaction welcomes Deadmau5, Skrillex, Run the Jewels, Chance the Rapper, Chvrches, Bonobo, Purity Ring and even Green Velvet & Claude VonStroke as Get Real plus a ton more yet to be announced. Never has something so amazing come to the Midwest for NYE, so make plans to stay in the area and snag tickets here before it’s too late. VIP packages will be available for ages 21+, with private bars, express entry, elevated premium viewing areas, and more. See you there to ring in 2016 the right way.
