Sensibly Fresh Mix: Whipped Cream & Maximono At Shambhala 2018
Shambhala 2018 was yet another glorious experience in the Kootenay Mountains. After four incredible days of music, laughs, and love we still can’t understand how the festival seems to outdo itself year after year. We had the opportunity to chat with some of our favorite artists including South African Dirtybird beatsmith Kyle Watson, Vancouver’s hottest rising stars Pigeon Hole, and New Zealand’s bass music superstar Opiuo. With the return of our Sensibly Fresh Mix of the week, we look back on two very dope but very different sets from Shambhala’s 21st anniversary.
Our first set comes from the undeniably awesome Whipped Cream. Her super heavy set at the Amp was an eye opener and we are definitely hoping to see her in The States sooner than later.
Maximono has quickly become household names in the undergound. The former drum and bass producers bring a swashbuckling style to house music and they were one of the standouts from a mad Dirtybird takeover on Friday night at Shambhala.
