Shambhamemories: Looking Back At The Moments Of Magic
Its that time of year when the Shambhala faithful start getting excited about the prospect of going home. With the announcement REZZ and The Glitch Mob as their first headliners for 2018, the full Shambhala lineup announcement is surely just around the corner. Every year Shambhala puts together an absolutely jaw-dropping collection of talent to fill their six amazing stages. Although Shambhala boasts an unmatched level of production and roster of artists, the four-day gathering in the Kootenay mountains goes far beyond the music and lights.
Now set to celebrate its 21st anniversary, Shambhala is a gathering that has and will always be built on the bonds between the people who attend and the memories that they forge. What sets Shambhala apart from other festivals is its rich history, traditions and vibrant culture. Shambhala recently paid homage to its hardworking crew with their Crew Appreciation Month, which exemplifies the festival’s deep love for those who dedicate themselves to the farm.
Here at Sensible Reason, we are excited to kick off a new series on the road to Shambhala 2018, Shambhamemories. With this new series, we will be taking a trip down memory lane and relive some of our favorite Shambhamemories from past festivals. There are countless moments of magic that make Shambhala the wondrous experience that it is and we want to catalogue as many of them as we can in anticipation of this year’s 21st anniversary. Stay tuned as we take a walk down memory lane until we head back to the Salmo River Ranch.
We want to hear from all of the Shambhala Family out there! Get in touch with us about your most precious Shambhamemories and the moments that have made the festival so meaningful to you! Send any submissions you have to Ashley@sensiblereason.com.
