Signs of Life from Suwannee Hulaween 2017
Our beloved Suwannee has reached milestones in diversity, partially in thanks to one of the newest and most quickly-developing attractions - Suwannee Hulaween, a festival hosted by the one-and-only String Cheese Incident.
If you’ve ever been lucky enough to be a part of any gathering ever held at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, odds are you fell completely head-over-heels for the area’s infectious culture; one that you become an imminent part of as soon as you step foot upon the Spanish-moss entangled expanse which is nestled cozily next to the calmly-flowing Suwannee River in Live Oak, FL. One of Florida’s most precious and sacred gems, SOSMP has seen it all in terms of festivals – from year after year of one of the biggest rock and bluegrass scenes, Wannee Music Festival, to breaching more electronic grounds with events like Bear Creek Music Festival with names such as Bonobo and Break Science. In more recent years, our beloved Suwannee has reached milestones in diversity, partially in thanks to one of the newest and most quickly-developing attractions, Suwannee Hulaween, a festival hosted by the one-and-only String Cheese Incident. Having started in 2013, this festival seems to double in size every year, growing in epic proportions each iteration; it’s safe to say that Hulaween has put all eyes on Suwannee since it’s thriving inaugural year.
Myself, along with the countless others that have attended this spooktacular Halloween get-down, have been awaiting announcements for our freak-filled affair to show signs of life for 2017. And that time has finally come. October 27-29, 2017, Suwanne Hulaween returns to Live Oak, FL, for a fifth round of ruckus.
Presales and lineup will be coming sooner than you think, so don’t sleep on this. Check out the Suwannee Hulaween official site and Facebook for more information and announcements. Peep the 2016 aftermovie below.
