Free Press Summer Festival is a music and visual arts festival held in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park. Some of the hottest, and most diverse, talents in the musical industry will descend upon Houston May 31st – June 1st for an unforgettable weekend. Last year’s event had a sold-out crowd of almost 100,000, and there is no doubt this year will be even bigger. The festival is known for its diverse musical talents, unique and amazing art, and the incredible atmosphere.
Headliners of Free Press include Jack White, rock band Vampire Weekend, electronic superstar Zedd and r&b singer Ms. Lauryn Hill. Check out the full lineup below:
The musical lineup is amazing – but wait! There’s more! The other half of the festival focuses on art, and there will be plenty of amazing installations to see. From the official FPSF website:
“FPSF is more than a music festival– with Eleanor Tinsley Park and Allen Parkway as their canvases, it’s a chance for Houston and area artists to feature works before tens of thousands of fest goers.”
There will be several areas with art installations, presentations and interactive art. We cannot wait to see what the amazingly talented artists have in store for us this year!
If you have not already ordered your tickets, get on it! They are selling fast and are expected to sell-out again this year. Click here to order from FPSF.com.
