Miami-based producer Warp9 has released his “DurtyDisco Rerub” of “Shuv Hadisco Kan” (translation: “the disco is here again”) originally produced by the popular Israeli disco/funk group Hadorbanim, for free download.Apparently, the thriving electronic-music culture of Israel has welcomed the glitchy, funk-infused electro-soul that Warp9 has to offer with open arms. Although the track has been in his repertoire for a while, inspired by the positive reaction of glitch-hungry Israelis, Warp9 is now giving this incredibly funky and refreshingly original track away for free.
Warp9 is currently still tearing up the Israeli underground but will be returning to the States in August to release his first full-length album and announce dates for a national tour.
