Steez Promo Presents EOTO and Crizzly in Philly
This Friday, Michael Travis and Jason Hann of String Cheese Incident return to Philadelphia to tear the roof off of the Theater of Living Arts as EOTO. This jamtronic duo is entirely improvisational and mixes the organic sounds of live drums, bass and guitar through a variety of programs to create a unique and invigorating live electronic sound. EOTO features live jam, house, electro, and an occasional phat rap of Jason Hann’s. EOTO is at the forefront of the ever-growing live electronica scene, but they aren’t the only artist to catch this Friday at the TLA.
Opening up for EOTO will be Crizzly and D.V.S.* Both artists bring different musical styles to the table and will get the audience hyped for the cacophony of sounds that is an EOTO show. Twenty-one year old Chris Lee “Crizzly” Marshall combines the sound of dubstep and hiphop into new genre: “crunk-step.” D.V.S.* (Derek VanScoten) falls more along the lines of EOTO’s musical style, combining guitar, Ableton Live, and Keith McMillan SoftStep to create a smooth but rocking live electronic sound.
Tickets for Friday’s EOTO show, presented by Steez Promo, are available at Live Nation. Get together a crew and take advantage of the Me + 3 deal, which gives each ticket a 10$ discount when purchased in groups of 4! Sensible Reason is looking forward to seeing new and old fans alike, doors are at 8 so be sure to make it in time for D.V.S.* and Crizzly to start the party!
