Summer Set Goes All Out For 5th Anniversary
Summer Set Music Festival is having its 5th anniversary this year. Every August, the festival just keeps getting better. Summer Set has grown from a small festival in Wisconsin to one of the most anticipated camp-outs of the summer. Adding a larger campground, more stages, more camping options, huge on-site after parties, and the Starship 2000 was just the beginning.
For Summer Set’s five year anniversary, these guys are really taking it back to the basics and bringing the music home. For the first time in SSMF history, tickets are an all-in-one package! Yes, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally come. No more confusion about camping wristbands and festival tickets and parking passes, the mess is behind us. This year, your ticket is your ticket. There are still options between VIP packages, lodges, North and South campgrounds and the like, but there’s no need to spend extra cash when you’ve already bought your festival pass.
Speaking of tickets, this year’s on-site after parties are something to check out. While these are separate tickets, they are well worth the extra $20 for an up-close-and-personal late night party with Zhu on Friday and Jauz on Saturday. If you snag tickets for both nights, it’s only $35! These unique artists are worth staying up late. Snag tickets for the afters here.
This year’s lineup is unmatched by anything in the Midwest this summer. Each year, Summer Set brings in one huge hip-hop act. This year, they’ve brought two powerhouses to the ticket, Atmosphere and Chance the Rapper. Hailing from Minnesota, Atmosphere has been on the move and they aren’t making any apologies as they tear through the festival circuit, destroying vocal chords as their fans sing along to every word Slug brings to the microphone. Chance the Rapper is making a special appearance with his live band The Social Experiment and we can’t wait to see what he has in store. Check out the full Summer Set lineup below and stay tuned for an awesome ticket giveaway later this month.
