Sunday is for Football
As we head into week three of the season there are only 6 teams undefeated, with Kansas City (3-0) and Miami Dolphins (2-0) being the most surprising of the 6! On the flip side to those are The Giants, Steelers, Redskins, Vikings, Panthers, Bucs, Jags, and Browns, who are all 0-2! I can not say I am surprised by The Jags and Browns, but the first four have me wondering if this will be the year the little guys bully their way to the top!
I am still in bewilderment by The Browns trading Trent Richardson to The Colts! Only 18 games in after drafting him 3rd overall and 2 games into the season it seems they are throwing in the towel! There is already talk that QB Weeden is on his way out as well! So you trade your best offensive weapon away, setting up your QB to fail and stock pile draft picks for next year. They will now have to get a QB, RB and WR in that draft! Is that really The Browns idea for future success? Good luck with that philosophy! My heart goes out to Browns fans!
Two games to watch this week are the Texans vs. Ravens and the Bears vs. Steelers. I believe that the Texans/Ravens game will be a close one, but overall the Texans will pull out a win! The Ravens are shaky and need to gel more on the offense and defense needs to find its new identity before it’s too late! Now for the Bears(2-0)/Steelers (0-2) matchup I think Bears will be the victors! They just have it going on in all phases of the game! The Steelers are struggling in offense and I believe the time has come to fire Todd Haley! His brand of offensive game calling is not a fit for The Steelers. Until this is fixed I feel The Steelers will continue to struggle and Steeler’s fans could be in for a long season!
