The Expansion of Freaky Deaky – Halloween’s 3 Day Festival
The Freaky Deaky event in Chicago has been a staple of the electronic music scene since it started 7 years ago. First at the Congress Theater, then at Concord Music Hall, Freaky Deaky has been bringing the likes of artists who make music catered to the Halloween crowd. In the past, Freaky Deaky has seen the likes of Knife Party, Tommy Trash, Flux Pavillion, Zed’s Dead and more. This year, React Presents and friends have expanded the event into a 3-day festival!
Held at Toyota Park in Chicago Friday Oct. 30th to Sunday Nov. 1st, this year’s full festival includes Bassnectar, Armin van Buuren, Pretty Lights, 2 Chainz, Big Gigantic, and Carnage. With a headlining lineup like that, things are bound to get freaky. What makes this festival unlike most is the Halloween theme. When people get into costume and romp around in various visages – both in character and appearance – things are about to get weird. Start planning your Halloween adventure surrounded in weirdness and bass. Tickets are on sale now, so snag them before the Bassheads do!
