SR Track Of The Week: The Glitch Mob Collaborate With LICK On New Single “System Bleed”
Since forming over a decade ago in 2009, The Glitch Mob has garnered widespread adoration and respect around the world. The LA-based trio of Justin Boreta, Ed Ma, and Joshua Maye continues to cement its position as one of the most groundbreaking supergroups in the world of electronic music. Known for their high-energy, impeccably produced anthems, The Glitch Mob are undisputed icons of the scene. What separates the Mob from all others is their ability to blend their distinct skills and perspectives to create a constantly transforming aesthetic that continues to inspire music lovers across the globe. Now Following the release of their 3rd studio album See Without Eyes and a worldwide headlining tour last year, the innovative brand is set to kick off a new project.
With their newest single “System Bleed” is the first taste of an upcoming string of collaborative singles The Glitch Mob plan to release with emerging talent, before the close of 2019. Featuring the talents of Deadbeats dynamo LICK, “System Bleed” is a high octane banger that longtime fans will truly appreciate. The track starts off with an ominous throbbing bassline that blooms into a cinematic series of synth melodies before righteously erupting with the trio’s trademark industrial percussion and larger than life drops. Meandering between ethereal vocal samples, delicate piano chords, and lethal bass stabs this dark and insidious house track finishes with a techy flourish. Stay tuned for even more collaborations from The Glitch Mob on the horizon as they keep this series going.
