The Style & Smiles Of Elements Lakewood 2019
Elements Lakewood Festival was back with a bang for its third straight year this Memorial Day Weekend. As one of the premier music festivals on the East Coast, Elements is a gathering with its own flavor. Dancers from all across the eastern seaboard flock together and show off their unique styles and swagger for an unforgettable weekend of music.
Groups of friends congregate to create themed camps and dress accordingly to cultivate an immersive culture. From themes like Christmas in May to super sexy 70’s feels with Camp Grooves, style was everywhere. At Elements, people are allowed to express themselves how they want with no judgement. The amazing part of this festival is that there is so much individuality but regardless of that fact everyone still gathers together to be one with the music. We picked Ten of our favorite looks and asked the attendees about their style.
The vibes that this festival brings are unique in a way that can’t be replicated. I like to think I mirror that in my outfits. Elements festival really inspires me to step outside my comfort zone.
I’ve always been Intrigued with steampunk gear. I never got the chance to actually wear it… Till Elements! A place where people celebrate individuality and let our freak flags fly.
There is no greater feeling then looking into a sea of people and seeing the clothing that you have personally hand picked and how comfortable and confident each individual is in their new swaggy threads! Check out or FB Page: Thrift Squad and IG: @whatthemthreadsdo.
The dance music scene has really helped me become comfortable and fall in love with every part of myself. Part of that love extends through my fashion sense! It makes me feel good, and that’s pretty awesome if you ask me.

Our cabin theme was Christmas and we enjoyed that our outfits brought tons of smiles our way.
It was our first elements and we wanted to put together an outfit we could share with everyone… and honestly I’ve never had so many people in one day Moo at me. It was awesome!
We never went to summer camp as kids so we totally embraced Elements as a way to relive our childhood.
I looked through my pool closet and found a bunch of floaties. It was just perfection for the lake during the day. As for the mask a while back I saw it at a friends house and got really excited because V for Vendetta is my favorite movie and never seen the mask in gold.. Ever since then it has been my party persona.
We love music and dancing so we came up with the name grooves and made it like a 70’s Theme. We bring the Grooves everywhere we go.
Desert heart changed my life! So I wanted to bring those vibes out here to Elements.
